Last day of class
Today is our last day of class. I am grateful to Dr. Wang for being so patient with me. I have learned a tremendous amount. I hope to continue to use these new technology skills. I will be a better teacher if I do. I also am thankful for all of the kind people who have helped me come so far in just less than a month. Coming back to college after 27 years has been challenging. I am calling this month "Educational Boot Camp".

EDT 300
This past week we created a web page. I was able to find some neat music web sites to link to my page. I also found a web page about the symphony orchestra that was interactive.
We are on the homestretch in this class. I hope I can finish well.

Newsletter
Today we presented our newsletters. I have learned how to use Microsoft Publisher. I am glad to know how to produce a newletter. I haven't done this before.
I admire the hard work that everyone is giving in all of the Education classes that I attend.

EDT 300 Week 2
Today is Friday the 13th of June. We didn't have class today. This past week we have worked on our Unit Inrodcution. This is a Powerpoint presentation that communicates the subject matter, the state standards, the essential questions and unit questions. I think the unit summary is a vital part of the presentation.
Everyone in the class had a nice presentation. We are overcoming are weakness and gaining confidence in our projects. I am very grateful to all the kind assistance my classmates and Dr. Wang has given.
It was an interesting experience to be in the computer class when the power went out. I sat in the dark and talked to a teacher about learning objectives. Dr. Wang and I discussed the use of digital pictures in the Powerpoint presentation. We were all thankful for cell phones that provided light in order for us to see how to get out of the building. By the way, Dr Wang I don't recall that you had a cell phone to light your way back to your office. Was it creepy going to your office in the dark?

Question for EDT 300
Would anyone like to get together and redo the two assignments for practice? I could certainly use the practice and it would be fun to work together. I hope eveyone has had a nice weekend.

June 5th Class summary
I have met alot of nice helpful people in EDT 300. Elizabeth assists me regularly for which I am grateful. I have met Stacey who works for a race car team. She is in three of my classes.
Today we created spreadsheets in a flash. I hope to get better at this. I like learning these skills and look forward to using what I have learned.
Dr. Wang is helpful and understanding.
I hope everyone has a nice weekend.
